Apparel Sizing & Care
The short answer
Our tees and hoodies are unisex adult sizing and run true to a classic fit. If you are between sizes, size up on the hoodie and stay true on the tee.
Tee size chart
All measurements are the garment laid flat, in inches. Chest is measured across the shirt one inch below the armhole, so the full way around is roughly double that number.
| Size | Body length | Chest (flat) | Sleeve from center back |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 28 | 18 | 15⅝ |
| M | 29 | 20 | 17 |
| L | 30 | 22 | 18½ |
| XL | 31 | 24 | 20 |
Hoodie size chart

How to measure without guessing
Measure a shirt you already own
Take a tee that fits you the way you want ours to fit, lay it flat, and measure across the chest one inch below the armhole. Match that number to the chart. This beats any height and weight calculator.
Check the length, not just the chest
Body length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem. If you are tall and the chest fits but shirts always ride up on you, go up one size for the extra inch of length.
Decide how you want it to sit
These are a classic fit, not slim and not oversized. If you want a boxy, drop-shoulder look, size up one. If you size up two you will get the length as well as the width, and it will read as long rather than wide.
What the tees are made of
Midweight 5.3 oz preshrunk 100% cotton jersey. Seamless 7/8 inch double-needle collar that holds its shape instead of stretching out, taped neck and shoulders so the seam does not dig, and double-needle hems at the sleeves and bottom.
We picked a heavier cotton on purpose. Thin fashion tees drape better on a hanger but go see-through and lose their shape in a season. Preshrunk, so it will not shrink out of size after the first wash.
What the hoodies are made of
Heavyweight 8 oz midweight fleece, 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The blend is deliberate: cotton for the hand feel, polyester so it holds its shape and does not sag at the cuffs and hem after a few wears.
Spun from 20-singles air-combed yarn, which is smoother and lower-pilling than standard yarn. It resists the fuzzing that makes a cheap hoodie look old fast, and it gives us a flatter surface to press artwork onto.
Double-lined hood, front pouch pocket, and 1x1 ribbed cuffs and waistband with spandex through them so they stretch and snap back instead of going slack.
The hoodie drawstring is a shoelace
This is the part nobody else does. The stock cord is pulled out and replaced with a pair of our printed recycled laces, so the hood string matches the artwork and matches your shoes if you want it to. It is a real lace, so you can swap it for any other design in the shop whenever you feel like it.
How the artwork is printed
Every design is drawn by a real human artist, then digitized and printed as a DTF transfer and heat pressed into the garment. It sits in the fabric rather than on top of it, stays flexible, and will not crack or peel the way a thick plastisol slab does.
Care
| Do | Do not |
|---|---|
| Machine wash cold, turned inside out | No bleach |
| Tumble dry low | No fabric softener |
| Pull the lace drawstring out before washing | Do not iron |
| Wash with similar colors | Do not dry clean |
Two of those matter more than the rest. Washing inside out is the single thing that most extends the life of a print. And fabric softener coats the fibers, dulls the cotton and flattens fleece, so skip it entirely.
